    Who Died in 2023

Pretty full life, I’d say but he’s been sick for a long time. Long time gone?

For Boomers, at least American Boomers, that's a very notable and sad event. I wonder if he reached any reconciliation with Stills, Nash and Young before he died. Crosby burned a lot of bridges over the years.

That’s sad. I listened to a bit of CSNY back in the day. Very talented.

    No reconciliation as of 2021

Apparently, in 2014, he called Young’s girlfriend (now wife) Daryl Hannah “a purely poisonous predator”.
[I never knew Young was with Daryl Hannah]

To my eye, he didn’t look bad for 81. And he was still performing, despite God-knows-how-many-drugs and a liver transplant.

Crosby was one of the good ones. What he brought to the Byrds and CSNY was irreplaceable. An enormous talent. I miss ol’ Cros.

Actress Annie Wersching, age 45, to cancer.

Very sad. I first saw her on one of the more pro-torture seasons of 24, but her performance as Tess in The Last of Us video game was the lasting impression she made on me. I’d been thinking about her a lot lately with the success of the show and the change from her to Anna Torv for the role, but I guess her 2020 cancer diagnosis was at least one of the reasons she didn’t get the role. This one is a little tough, especially with her being so young.
