Once in awhile you get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right.

Exciting few days here. Strong winds and heavy rain since Thursday. No electricity for two days. Still no internet or cable, checking in here via cell hotspot. Photo below shows a tree across our street yesterday morning, with live lines. Power company cleared it late Friday and power came back early this morning. Oris moony on my wrist today.

Too many watches, not enough wrists.

Oh no, happy that you’re OK despite all that.

Thanks! Everyone's fine. It was a good excuse to read books by the fire during the day, with candles at night adding a nice mood. We actually had to entertain ourselves with conversation, imagine that?

    WRUW Saturday 11th. March

Sub in the morning. Slow breakfast, newspaper and coffee.

Then driving daughter and wife downtown, I continued for a 1,5 km swim. Suunto tracks distance quite well in 25 m pool, but in 50 m pool it counts only half of actual. Strange.

In the evening dinner with wife. After starters and mains we changed place for dessert, and were joined by our daughter.

Now back home and enjoying a sip of kosher slivovitz, trying to destroy an old souvenir bottle from Poland, or Czech Republic, who remembers…

    What a perfect Saturday.
