Hello all,
I'm offering an early GEVRIL in excellent condition. It's the classic 1st-gen auto (2824-2), Ref. A0111, ca. late 1990s.
- Charcoal dial, silver hands
- 38mm diameter case w/screw back
- 9.5mm thick w/flat asapphire crystal
- 19mm lugs
- Original bracelet fits wrist larger than 7.5" (on my roughly 7.25" wrist, I can still fit a finger between wrist and bracelet)
- Screw-down crown; 110m WR
- 28,800 vph
Running well and functioning properly. My Timemaster shows it is a little fast (14 sec over one day). I have owned these before that ran inside COSC specs, and suspect this one could be regulated for better accuracy. Service history is unknown--I have not opened it, but see faint marks on the case back indicating a case opener has been used by a previous owner or technician. Includes original instruction booklet, but no boxes or other paperwork. Interesting trivia: it was claimed in the early 2000s (on forums such as TZ) that these were built in Audemars Piguet's atelier for Gevril, but I've never seen that confirmed.
