A vintage Rolex
This is the best looking Rolex diver I have ever seen.

Savagely Average
Confession.
Years ago I owned the Steinhart version of that watch, because I genuinely thought it looked like a damn attractive watch. It felt heavy and nice quality as well.
When I later learned what an "homage" watch was, I sold it. I actually had no idea it was a Rolex homage/knockoff/whatever you prefer to call it. To me it was just a good looking, well balanced dial Swiss watch lol
So yeah, I agree. Great looking watch

It’s a beautiful watch, for sure, even though I’d never choose a Seadweller over a comparable Submariner (because of date and thickness). I do love vintage Rolexes; not many of the current or recent models have that kind of purity of purpose and spirit that the vintage ones do. But, I have to ask:
“Kind of the same thing, but as AA Gill put it, ‘Pasta is eaten by happy smiley people having fun with people they love or fancy and are about to shag. Noodles are eaten by people who have no friends.’”?
What the hell does that mean?

I love a red sub but would prefer a modern one. Or a pelagos 39

I must admit that I thought that one was hooky, but I see that it’s not.
