    Dufrane Watches

Hey people. Does anyone have any experience with or knowledge of Dufrane Watches. It's an American micro-brand based out of Austin, TX. They have a couple of nice models, including the Barton Springs diver (no date, thank you), but the one I really like is the Waterloo. The watch comes in two case options, rose gold and steel, and several strap options. Yes, it is also available on a bracelet. I'm looking at the linen dial and steel case probably on the brown strap. It'll be a couple years down the road so I'll see how I feel about in about three years.

    Stainless steel case, 39mm
    10.4mm thick
    Sellita SW200 movement
    20mm lugs, 47mm LtL
    sub $600

The hammered dial is pretty cool lookin'.

No experience, but a place to ask might be the microbrands forum on Facebook.

And look how easy that is…a choice between date and no date. I wish some other brands would figure this out (ahem Longines, Seiko, and Grand Seiko, right off the top of my head).

Yes, they’re out of Austin. Their watches are named after important-to-Austin things. They have a pilot’s watch named after the airport and one named after an area military base.
