Breitling may be the perfect and most apposite partner for this venture. It will takes ages for watches to appear, though. It’s a massive job, restoring UG as a semi-autonomous company.

I could be wrong, but I think Clapton's actions and comments have sunk any chance of a collaboration with a major brand like Breitling or a revived UG.

It’s about time! Please, please, please give me a 40-42mm reissue of the Nina Rindt chrono!

My Universal Geneve was my first foray into vintage watches. I liked it a lot, but it was a reminder that vintage watches are a “look, don’t buy” proposition for me. But I love this design and would love to see a modern iteration of it.

I wouldn’t expect a collaboration but the model is significant.

There's at least one website devoted solely to Polerouters. Who knew?

Ran across this -- seems clearly inspired by the Polerouter.
