I was never a fan back in her heyday; I've come around a bit in my dotage.

One for the Brits -
Ian Lavender (second left).
Which means that all of the cast of ‘Dad’s Army’ are gone. It was one of those TV programmes embedded in a nation’s psyche - and looking back, the cast was extraordinary.

One of my favorite people from the early Krautrock scene, Damo Suzuki, singer in Can during their heights, and a joyful force of positive energy. Passed 9 Feb at 74 after a battle with colon cancer.

As soon as I saw your name in this thread I knew it was for Damo. I just listened to Tago Mago.

RIP Navalny, Russia’s last greatest hope for something even remotely resembling honest governance. The thugocracy snuffs out the brightest light piercing the eternal darkness of Putin’s soul, and the hope of the Russian people dies yet another hideous death at the hands of Vlad the Impaler. Sad, depressing, and all too predictable.
