Yes, i switched off bluetooth.
So its showing that airplane symbol.
I dont use the app anyhow.
Without the app this watch otherwise is one of the worst usable watches in my collection.
When the Casio app is discontinued some years in the future, these will go to the landfill.
2 Examples:
- time settings are in a sub-menu that requires the push of 2 different buttons after another to start the watch (bad for zeroing out the minute)
- stopwatch only runs in 1 sec. steps, no 1/10sec display
So without the bluetooth you get a hard to set watch with just one working extra mode which is the 1sec accurary stopwatch.
1. never trust cloud services
2. always keep control of your data
