    Rado Japanese Green Tags

I am sure we have all seen a few examples of these green Japanese market price tags over the years. I recently picked up this Electrosonic, reference 15002, mint condition with tag but not running. Not sure why but for the first time I prised open the green tag to find a printed piece of paper inside (see pic). This one contains the “G” reference for this model used in many of the Japanese importer magazines we have seen and also the handwritten case serial number. Not certain of the significance of the letters and numbers which have been marked. Does anyone else have examples to compare?

If I can remember where mine are, I'll pop one open and see what's inside.

I fo not havecany like that. I have several that are somewhst similar but the price tag portion is a brushed metal insert rather than paper.
