    Sharky's Cafe

Nothing last forever even if we want it too! good friends, great threads so on that note the mwc threads will be closing with the current one being the last. That will get locked in a few days so any last thoughts guess it now or never .

But think I am going to do what the rado guys do and they do a weekly thread as a remind to someone they lost but think I will do it monthly or when I feel like refreshing it sooo ...

basically same as the mwc thread all's welcome for friendly banter about watches and life .. and maybe we might see some old names showing up or for that matter new it all good .

I think this is a good call. Respectful to the past and open to the future. Great approach

    Looking forward to banter

so as ant bought any tat lots in a while can't as sharky use to let me use his ebay for buying and selling watches on . I have not even looked at ebay in six months easy ..shame in some ways as use to like looking and buying spare lots and then trying to fix them gave me a break from my full time careering , plus when I manged to fix those odd rare casio they was fun to wear then flip for more then I bought them for (and I could and did actually make on most the lots , not always though but kept the base price meant would not lose much if it was a bad lot , it's how I bought some of the more expensive watches in my collection )

so got a few casio in different states of repair so they have been boxed for now and just got a couple left that don't work so might try and see what can be done about them normal would flip on but guess if I break them can't be worse as don't work now

but think might look at some of the ones I got and see why some I use and some I don't think might do a review on some of them got a solar aq-s800w that I don't because hate the postion on the seconds counter and that you can't hide it.

the one I just don't get? it's a casio mtd-1079 I stripped clean it and put in a new battery worked fine for a few days and now it's ticking backwards and forwards in the same spot it's not the battery tried three . I put it on my machine and spun all the hands so they run fine so not sure what it is ?
