What modern watch looks like this 1944 Navy-pilot Omega?

    Photo taken from this ad

    Omega navy pilot.JPG

    1. Thin bezel
    2. Thin crown
    3. Tapered lugs
    4. Small case (32.5mm, to be precise)
    5. Train track markers
    6. 12 deck-style numerals
    7. "Extra heavy spade" hands*
    8. Manual movement

How close can what the modern market offer come to 8 out of 8?

    Stowa:

    Junghans:

    Rodina:

But it does have a small subdial. And I actually like the subdial on this watch. It gives it a little minimalistic character.

This is kind of close on the Dial, but not on the hands the Longines 1938:

If you like the Rodina and you want a bit of lume an a lacquered white dial the Topper NOMOS may be the thing:

    Speedbird III:

    Stowa Antea:

    Stowa Partitio:

    And the Stowa Marine Automatik:

    This probably comes the closest.
