    What’s your watch pet peeve?

I readily admit I am quirky. I simply cannot deny it. I have a lot of quirks, things I want to be a certain way, things that must be a certain way, and things that drive me absolutely, bat crap crazy. A lot of OCD tendencies, but I know I don’t have the disorder. Like I said, quirky. I may well be on the spectrum.

Not surprisingly, I have a few watch pet peeves. Such as the tail of the strap overlapping and being seen in the picture. I do everything I can to find angles that don’t show it.

So what are yours? I’m not talking date v no date. I mean the little things that frustrate and annoy you.

Once in awhile you get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right.

Cut off numbers on a chronograph. Drives me nuts.

Worse yet (to my eyes) - Numbers cut off to accommodate a date window. ... and...
Hands (in this case, seconds) that don't reach the markers.
Some people have opinions - The rest of us have taste.

    I couldn't agree more.

Odd-sized lugs. So annoying with the 21mm or 19mm straps.

I quadruple the cut-off numbers peeve. There's almost never a good reason to do it, just lazy design IMO.

I will admit to having owned one that had the teeniest cut off numbers, but the cut offs were so small and I otherwise liked the watch so much that I forgave it:

Just the tiniest pieces out of the 10 and 2. You almost have to look for it to see it.

Sub-dials that are smaller than they might be because right of way has been granted to the numerals.

Bracelet screws I can’t see. Pins and collars.
