Another warm day, already above 50F. Good for the 5200 people descending on Lake Michigan this morning for the annual Polar Plunge (benefits the Special Olympics). Some years itís been so cold that they have to break up ice at the shore before people can get in. Who, me? Not a chance.

Every year, my former boss has a party for his direct reports at his home. Even though Iíve been retired for six years now, he still invites Mrs. Cor and I, and we enjoy going. So something dressy is in order.

Killing time at Nice airport while waiting for the bag drop to open.

Both restaurants this side closed, so sent kids through security to find a place to eat, as they were getting grumpy. Wonít be home until at least two AM tomorrow.
    Cheers, M

Newcomer again. I have kept it ticking to check accuracy. +12 seconds in 10 days. Not bad for a 5 year old watch. Stormy weekend. Sun is just peaking out behind morning rainclouds. North county actually got a tornado warning yesterday evening, very rare for the California coast. Scrub jay watching me take pictures, hoping I have peanuts to steal. Scrub jay code of ethics: never accept gifts, only steal them.

Too many watches, not enough wrists.

Another day with this one. Might be my favorite everyday watch on a strap - I need to try the rubber like @pacifico66 has on his 42mm Polaris.

And, a dry warm up here in MD. Windows open, we're working inside and outside - almost unpacked after moving here in July.

Scrub jays are magnificent, snotty, insouciant little pirates. I love them!
