    Early entry, late intro

The doors opened while I was out of country, but one of the friendly mods sent me an e-mail about this new refuge. Signing up was a wee bit difficult and I had to be approved manually (LOL - that was an early mistake on their part). It's funny to be here, all these familiar names .....

Born and raised in The Netherlands; moved to USA in 2000. Married with K9's for kids.

Most people have visions of canals and wind-mills when they hear mention of The Netherlands, so allow me to leave you with some very different impressions (I have taken these pics ca 3 weeks ago)

Welcome to the forum! When I think of The Netherlands I think of wandering through Amsterdam's red light district, absolutely toasted, but hey.

When I was 18 I spent a night sleeping rough in Amsterdam (I had already been robbed that holiday, so I didn't have anything to lose)

This is more my concept of the Netherlands. It's in Flanders, but hey....
