    Captain Cook Ads

I am looking for any advertising material in relation to the original 1962 Captain Cook. All I can find are these two Rado Ticin ads. Does anyone have any others in hand or screenshots?

Pretty sure I'vee posted a couple that probably came from Mike Keller in the print media thread.

    I'll take a look, John.

On a related note...15-20 years ago (at least) I saw what appeared to be a CC Mk I on eBay, but it had a Baylor dial. Very similar to a CC dial, but the anchor was replaced with a disk sporting a B, if I recall correctly.
    I've never seen another.

    '66 - '67:

By '67 the advertising that I have seems to switch focus to the Captain Cook Mark 2 / Neo. All the advertising from then on and for the next 3-4 years that I have is for the Mk II/Neo.

It is interesting to me that when Rado started re-issuing Captain Cooks in the 2000s, that the first advertising that I have is actually for a reissue of the Mark 2/Neo, rather than the original Mk I Captain Cook that seemed to start coming out later...

It's funny, but I had never considered that Diver to be a reboot of the CC.
This one always seemed more CC-like to me.

    Yes, I agree.

To me they both look a lot closer to the MkII/Neo than the original Mk1 that is now the basis for THE modern Captain Cook reissue.
