New G5600BG-1 again.
A split second of annoyance that the street I'm on is now blocked by an ambulance making a call, delaying the start of a trip upstate. Followed immediately by a self-administered kick in the pants and gratitude that (a) we have a robust and sophisticated EMS system in NYC; (b) NYC is home to some of the best hospitals in the world; (c) I'm not in a hurry and, most importantly, (d) I'm not the guy who needs an ambulance. Not today.
