    Happy Thanksgiving

to all our American friends. Since I retired I get to celebrate Thanksgiving twice...which is great.
I hope those of you in the Northeast escaped the big snowstorm while you were traveling. it stayed just south of the St Lawrence river where I live and missed us by a whisker.

We are finally going to get our first big storm of the year this weekend and I can't wait.

Beer fridge is in overload mode, and nothing to do but watch football and watch shop all weekend!!!!

    Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

My parents came to visit. I basically spent half the time in my bedroom talking to my dad about watches. I gave him an Akribos skeleton watch that I don't wear. He loved it. Simple guy.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Despite my initial frustration with my family, it turns out that having friends here made sure that the conversation stayed light and up. No one got wasted, no one got depressed, and no one got into a fight.

It was actually a fairly nice Thanksgiving. Generally I'm not much of a fan of the holiday.

Also, smoked turkey is the best turkey I've ever had.

I couldn't believe it. I'm not a turkey guy. But I'd eat this any time.
