Thread: Has anyone converted their collection to leather straps and put away their steel?

Here's my Seamaster on leather, the bracelet is fine in the summer but a little loose when the temperature drops. Blue leather gets round the whole shoe matching OCD thing too.

And I always wear my Ball on leather, the bracelet is horrifically blingy

    Nope. I much prefer bracelets.

As most of my bracelets are Rolex, the easy link extension allows for a very quick 5mm adjustment (faster than adjusting a strap).

With winter months here, I had to move the deployant on my Dornbluth by one hole, and it took all week for the strap to conform to my wrist.

Hi sherry... so glad to see you here =)

I envy you guys and gals, the weather here in the tropics just isn't suited for leather straps.

I have to agree about the GS bracelet. As much as I like the idea of the strap, the bracelet might be too good and I would probably swap it back right away.

Strangely enough whatmeworry, I loved the SMP bracelet but always preferred this carbon fiber strap.

Interesting. I agree with the wet winter part, but summers here rarely get about 90F.

That's hot enough for me to melt. I am definitely a winter guy.

Thank you, I wasn't sure until I saw it "in the metal", but it worked out well! I'm a mesh slut though.
