All day I've been very conscious of how much I've been enjoying having this on my wrist but blimey it's hard to get it to look anything other than exactly the same as every other photo I've taken of it
I chose the size of the watch, rather than the movement: if a 38mm case existed with a 2801 movement I would have opted for that. Having said that, I'm growing to be more appreciative of it being an auto, especially as I can hear the rotor clattering around behind the thin caseback. It has a such an air of efficient diligent application, that the autowinding fits into that nicely. It's not a watch for twinkling silently in the darkness of the evening, so it doesn't need the manual movement for that tone.

...and still the Partitio. I'll mix things up this weekend, but it has been a fun week with the Stowa.

The Stowa Polish LE looks just as good in b&w as it does in color.

Another day, another Stowa.
The more I wear this watch, the more I appreciate the Soprod A10. If I switch from a 2824 to the A10, the differences are even more profound. The A10 is delightfully smooth to wind and set.
