Up for sale is my 1976 gold Seiko 6139-6002, commonly referred to as the Pogue.
I am uncertain if this watch has all original parts or not. I've discussed it with two different respected vintage Seiko experts and the opinion is divided between them. I lean towards an aftermarket dial, because it's just too good. I've priced this with that uncertainty in mind.
The watch is in stellar condition. The case sides and back have been polished, though the radial brushing is still present on the top of the case.
The dial is beautiful.
The bezel is fantastic.
The crystal is clear without scratches.
The central seconds and subdial totalizer reset to zero.
The watch is keeping good time, though I have not timed it. I don't wear the same watch two days in a row, but it keeps accurate time, especially for a vintage watch.
The watch comes with the appropriate tapered bracelet with Seiko clasp.
