Even a broken watch shows correct time once or twice a day. I ought to know, I have a few!

Very nice! Bronze is something that has been on my mind for a while. Just need to make the plunge, because I think they look great.

You have 8+ Panerais and no bronze?? I saw a nicely aged (I think) PAM382 at a Melbourne GTG. Looked pretty good I gotta say - and that's coming from me

Curious... Today, I was browsing the Archimede web site and that specific model called my atention. Glad you got one. I'll wait for the review.
Congrats!

Nice one Glenn -Ive been eyeing off a Archimede pilot for a while now- what was your rationale in going for the 39mm over the 42 as I'm a bit confused about what size i would get.

Thanks for the comments everyone.
My house uses ducted evaporative cooling which substantially increases the humidity level. With all this heat we're currently having here I've got it cranked up and I've left the watch out in the open to speed up the patina development. I'll have mould growing on it in no time.

Thanks Cam, purely my wrist size (6.5") and preferences which run on the small side. I hate it when lugs approach the edge of my wrist and the 45mm L2L on this one is perfect for me. The relatively large dial still makes it wear fairly large on me like a pilot should. The 42 is identical other than size and it's been around for longer so there's a few reviews on the 'net.

NIce! 39mm looks good on your wrist. Looking forward to the review and how the patina develops!

Very nice!! I wasn't actually a fan of bronze cases...until I saw this.
