I see two screw holes at 9 and 3 in your movement pic.
I don't see movement clamps in your collection of bits.

I also don't see any hands. What are you going with?

well yes found that there is a little screw next to where the movement clamps goes that should release the clamps as the dial sit's on but does not hold tight so has to be those that need to half turn then the dial should drop in then twist them back ..

well not sure got a few screws clams for a 6497 but in the case pic there seems to be by the look a movement holder / spacer so I would prefer to use that if possible as the movement clamps are a right bugger to get in the small awkward space they go so had a right problem with the last lot popping and going in the balance wheel so a lot simpler with a spacer

well hands I ran out money so thought put the movement and dial and case together then possible think then as I had bought a pan second hand for the case and the like but the dial would not fit the case so had to reassemble it and keep as is. did get another pan in trade.

but it was a 6497-1 with the sub nine movement was going to possible take the hands of that but then again was going to do a mod on that as bought as a skeleton watch so no dial but was going to put a nice sub-nine dial I saw or see if I could get an old russian pocket watch dial I have will fit it with a bit of tweak maybe do have an older one too with the feet missing so possible spot place that ??

so the hands was not sure on size as the dial is a 38.9 so had to go 47mm case so assume I need a 47mm hands but not sure on that

well had an interesting afternoon tinkering well I thought well I got a lovely new movement and one of a second hand pan so lets have a run through on the older one first so yes those screws does release and pin the dial so that's good now I also know that a 3602 russian movement dial does not fit a 6497 possible might with the spot feet maybe but even then very tight for the hands as the dial seems a tad thicker.. that movement spacers are way easier then clamp and screw type movement holder that the lock guard on a decent made parnis is easier to remove then first thought...

and that the case off the spare pan was indeed to small

and if I do buy the sub-nine dial it would look lovely in there

and as I strip the one down to practise on I can nick the hands off that one as I got to buy a dial for it at some point might as well buy the hands at the same time

I have the MSA 11.827 stem cutting pliers from Ofrei. They are absolutely and completely worth the money.

Molly dials will need either new feet or you can use dial dots.

The Radi case like you show should use a 37mm diameter dial. The 44mm Luminor case will use a 34.5mm dial. The 44mm Mini fiddy case should use 37mm and a 47mm fiddy case should use a 39mm dial.

cool on a different note friends got a 32 mm dial hoping to fit a nh35a movement what's the best case to use and what size case is he looking for ?

yes found the 47mm best for the 38.9 dial I got so case is incoming got the movement and hands so just waiting on the case so touch wood that should be ok then I will get round to getting the sub nine dial then at some point will swap the dial on the 44mm I got as don't like the California dial personnel so that will be swapped out at some point

A must for any good watch tool box. Great tool, well built, and nice hardened metal quality.
