In general I find that watching watchbox reviews really helps with sizing.

I’ve always been put off by the size of Panerais, but maybe I should take another look.

~17cm - this is why I went with the Radiomir case. It's 51mm to the wire lugs, but the case itself is 45x45mm - large, but it doesn't look like I'm wearing my dad's watch.

I know a lot of people don't like him, but Tim does a good job showing case fit on his smaller wrist. His estimates on fit are silly sometimes until you remember that he's trying to sell the watch he's showing. He's not doing a review, he's showing inventory.

Super nice. I like the white dial as well. I half thought about one of the 40mm ones.

The white dial might wear a bit larger, but they look great.

Radiomir is my preferred design of the two. It’s just cleaner, less fiddly.

    I still really would love a 655.

I liked my 620 when I had it. The P.4000 micro rotor movement was excellent.

Panerai never seem to have the features I would want in one model. It would definitely be a Radiomir if I bought one, but I would want 40-42mm, sandwich dial, no date, small seconds, handwind, no screw-down crown - and black as your hat. I haven’t looked recently, but I don’t think there is one.

    That’s a pretty funky panerai!
