I've decided to get a new chair for my study. I'm thinking of one of those hyper-ergonomic jobbies used by people in very nice offices. I've never worked in an office and so I'm largely clueless. Naturally, I expected the internet to give me a swift answer, but boy was I wrong. Just like watches, razors, pipes and lighters, there's a world of insanity out there if you open the right door. In fact until a couple of hours ago, I didn't even realise that the chair I'm looking for is a task chair.
So what do I know? Well, the Sub or Speedmaster of the Task Chair world is (probably) this:
http://www.hermanmiller.co.uk/produc...on-chairs.html
And it's clearly very nice. However, two that I really like the look of are:
The Diffrient World Chair

and the Knoll life

Simply because they just appear tidy and uncluttered.
However, this seems to be one of those areas in which experience trumps any amount of internet search and I bet there's a few here who have experience of the world of the high end task chair
