    \\\\\ WRUW Sunday 17th May \\\\\

Trying a new strap on my Oris, before I go to see my AD tomorrow. C had suggested that my watch might have been magnetized, and Brice recommended using a compass over the watch to see if the needle moved. I did put a compass over my watch, and the needle did move, although not a significant amount. I will let the watchmaker at my AD decide if it is magnetized tomorrow. What a relief that would be! Why and how do watches become magnetized and is there a demagnetizer that anyone would recommend buying? Have a great rest of your Sunday and a good beginning to the new week!

That looks nice. Very nice. Is that lighter brown or orange?

Chase, what's the reference number and thickness on that Oris, if I may ask? Really like it.

Thanks, bu11itt. The color is called "Havana", and depending on the light it can look light brown or orange. It definitely has a lot of orange in it. I think this strap could also be called "British tan."
