    New G-shock line: "G-Steel"

I personally think they look nice. What does everybody else think?

The only thing I cannot find, is whether or not they have a sapphire crystal? Otherwise, they seem like a very good-and frugal- alternative to the "Metal Twisted" line.

Looks nice, a bit like the MTG series.

    But nothing special.

And the price with 300€ is a bit too high for my taste.

And the module is only standard.
Only a 100 min countdown timer.

    There are another two versions:

    Specs:

    Construction Shock-resistant
    Performance 200-meter water resistance
World Time 31 time zones (48 cities and Coordinated Universal Time), daylight saving on/off
Stopwatch 1/100 second; measuring capacity: 59’59.99”; measuring modes: elapsed time, split time, 1st and 2nd place times
Countdown Timer Measuring unit: 1 second; countdown range: 100 minutes; countdown start time setting range: 1 second to 100 minutes (1-second increments, 1-minute increments)
    Alarm 5 independent daily alarms
Other Functions Full auto-calendar; 12/24-hour format; battery level indicator; button operation tone on/off; full auto double LED backlight with afterglow: 1.5/3.0 seconds; hand-concealment function
Power Source Tough Solar power system (solar-charging system)
Continuous Operation About 19 months with the power-saving function* ON after full charge * Display shuts off after a certain period in a dark location
    Size of Case 59.1 × 52.4 × 16.1 mm
    Total Weight Approx. 195g (GST-S110D/GST-S110BD)
    Approx. 184g (GST-S100D)
    Approx. 108g (GST-S110)
    Approx. 97g (GST-S100G)

Seems to be the module of the AWG-M100. Not bad IMO.

Would you consider this line worth double the price of that one?

Not really. But let's wait and see what the street price will be.

The distinction here is what, a true stainless steel case?

I can't get over, btw, a CDT limited to 100 minutes and an STW limited to an hour.

I actually like the module of the AWG-M100.
BTW:I don't think the case is completely made of steel - probably only the bezel - like on the MTGs.
    Cheers, Sedi

I think this module is updated.
First, it's got double LED so the digital displays are also lit.
Second, you can switch between home time and world time with press of a button.
    I don't remember awg-m having this function.

I wish it was smaller though
