Thread: What's left your stable in 2017 in real time

What's left your stable in 2017 in real time

I can't even remember what several of the watches I let go last year are....

I propose a real time departure thread. It seems it is the only way I can be sure of what has left this year. It has been a busy one for me so far. I have shipped four. so far with a fifth due to leave soon.

    I shipped these:

New Green Horse. This was my daily wear watch for more than a year, but it doesn't get the wrist time it should and takes away from other vintage pieces that should be worn.

Monte Rosa. One of the most distinctive of Rado's Alpine models. The factory milanese on this thing is so comfortable.

Both of those stayed in the Rado family over at EoT

Then this went out. Diastar 2/1. This is a very uncommon example of the Diastar 2 featuring a flat sapphire crystal and a brushed case back.

Finally this is winging it's way to Kuwait today. Diastar 18 Magic. I bought this watch, traded it away, bought it back and now I think I am ready to let it go for good.

One mnore watch is set to follow soon and I may put a few more up. Those ones will mostly be project watches for others. I have barely let four or five watches go in a year before, let alone a week. That was only last year. It's kind of...liberating. I would liek to get only oen or two watches this year. I have no pre-concieved notion. The exchange rate is brutal so as much as I'd like to add another RGM that is highly doubtful.

well for fair con vintages ones they ant no more expensive then a new seiko.

I sold three rado's one went for what I paid and the other two went slightly for more then I paid so for under a couple of hundred quid or say $300 some go for like way more but I watch them from time to time you could get lucky and one could go cheap my one only made £50 quid plus post ...

I was a bit surprised it did not do more so think if you watch the you might get lucky .. always wanted a manhattan it just has some thing

Thanks, Iyonk! Bargains can still be found, even on ebay, but patience is the key.

My collection, compared to most, is easy to keep track of, with just 7 core watches, two digitals, a sentimental watch, and a Timex. Of course, I don't have access to all of them right now, as I'm 7,000 miles away from my house. This is what I've got with me:

EDIT: I just realized that I completely misread the title. I thought it was "what's left IN your stable", not what's left your stable! Sorry. I haven't sold anything yet.

Sinn 556I is gone. One hell of a watch, but I had my issues with it, it wasn't getting the wrist time, and I'm trying to put a purchase together for 2017.
