    Yeah true.

    It's a shame that so many of these brands are either nor being or not allowed be innovative w/r/t designs.

    The long PR of the Baumatic is a good differentiator, though. And it is a solid and classic design. Of course, this solid and classic design can also be boring if not finished to a high standard*...

    (*Or even if it is, especially according so some whippersnappers who refuse to get off my lawn)

    I prefer the Chronometer version. It adds a bit more interest to the dial imo, with the crosshair
    And even if it's more text it feels more balanced to me.

    If it didn't have a date, I'd be all over it. At least they didn't put a power reserve on it.

    Agreed.

    It’s just a very fine watch, the Baumatic. It’s one of those watches where it almost doesn’t matter who made it or what it’s called.
