It makes me chuckle and think of how excessive WR depth ratings typically are and how paranoid owners are about water and WR.

The thing with 7F's HDB (the name will become a joke for Singaporeans) is....even if you take a watch deep underwater, you can't even read the time....

And maybe Panerai will make one for their due line

I see what you did there
Once in awhile you get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right.

And what did you buy today ?

Another Ebel. New style wave three hander with date. http://www.ebel.com/us/en/shop-watch...e-1216204.html

As you know, I collect older Ebels but they have recently released some nice new pieces. This one attracted my attention due to the 40mm size and the case shape, which is consistent with the Ebel styling. The wave bracelet is classic Ebel and I like the subtle rose gold trim on the bezel, crown, bracelet and dial furniture. To my eye it looks lovely in the photos but we’ll see how it is IRL.

    Stowa Flieger 40 no-no

I've been stalking this one for awhile. 40mm, 20mm lugs. No logo, no date, no auto, no muss, no fuss.
Completely uncomplicated (unless you count the central seconds).
Multiple straps (I wonder if any are "small"?)
    Cropped seller pix.

Sadly, it looks as if it will arrive the day after I leave town for 2 weeks in Belfast, with
side trips to the ancestral village of Gilford (you get 10 points if you know where *that* is).

So...any decent watch shops in Belfast? I can't spend *every* day at the Titanic exhibit.

This came in today, 36mm model, so simple but a really cool look, kinda takes the best from the Exp and newer, larger OP's for me . . . .
