**** Is pulsar a under appreciated brand ****

well was sorting through my odds and sods boxes looking for a vostok bezel and well came across a case for a pulsar and it seem well made to me ( I had a risky punt on a none working one and well lets say the only thing worth keeping was the case the stem and crown) so I had a look at the bay to see if could find a working one with a badly beat up case ( for a swap out no luck yet ).. but anyway looking on the bay there are some great ones for not a lot of money but on looks they seem to equal citizen and / Seiko there main arrivals in quality and in looks but not commanding the same sort of price so whats your take on pulsar ..

    as always ismy

I don't know the answer, TBH. My perception is that it's more of a fashion brand and people looking at Pulsars don't necessarily know about the Seiko connection.
Depending on what I'm looking for, I don't usually skip Pulsar (or Lorus, or J.Springs, or Alba -- or eg Q&Q on Citizen side etc), but I've never found anything there that would fit my bills or be appealing enough to buy it.

some brands i would think fashion pulsar fall in and out of it mean the M.O.D used them to make their g10 for a while before they went back to cwc ..and some of their diver range is first rate ...

but they did do some cheap and cheerful range / lorus quality / sekonda and the like look ..not sure that help them or hinder them .... but they did do so good quality diver look to some that ticked all the boxes
