I've waited a long time for them to reissue the 6105. This is a dream on the wrist. Hands down my favorite Seiko diver design. Best pickup this year. Does not wear like something that they spec as 45mm. Wears like a 42mm. Finally a watch that looks like this that is finished in the GS studio, higher end Seiko movement and passes WR (which the five vintage I've bought could not regardless what was tried). Very happy.

Ouch. This is in addition to the one I posted a few months ago, which is minor scuff compared to the dents.

    Lovely watch.

Reminds me of the IWC Mk12 which I sold long ago.

    Thank you breadman!

Well, you nailed it...the Hawkinge is indeed a homage, but specifically to the Mk.11, a watch produced by IWC and JLC for the British MoD (following military guidelines for the design, of course).

A really well built and well done piece imo.

    Cheers,

    Chris

Congrats Michael! Looks amazing, and the 6105 is easily my favorite vintage Seiko diver. I've got a "not all original" vintage 6105 that I wouldn't take anywhere near water, and a homage by SMITHS that really does have amazing build quality imo, and I wouldn't be worried at all to take into water adventures.

This SLA033 reissue really does look amazing, and you've been successful in creating just a bit of watch envy! Enjoy this sweet one!
    Cheers,

    Chris
