There's probably a way to do this and I just don't know how, but I'd like to know when someone replies to one of my posts. This is more interesting to me than a 'like' and I should see what's been written in case a response in needed. Any way to do this? Is this a 'trackback' and how does one turn that on?

If you don't believe me, you can look up what Foucault said about it. (He used the term 'categories' but whateva.)
    And...
When will the Brits learn to spell English verbs correctly?
I do not disagree with you -- I guess metaphysical means something else entirely to me.

When I press the "back" or "show the previous page" button on my computer, the page to which I am navigating does not reload/update.

Browser and OS please. And this is a bug, not a suggestion!

You mean, like, New Age touchy feely crap?

I used the term to only mean 'beyond physical reality' without necessarily positing objective reality to that which exists beyond what we can measure.
I've said this before: the often-seen display of irrational adulation of (as opposed to trust in) certain brands is practically identical to how religious / political belief works anyway.
When we speak of intangibles - "auras" and "souls" (mechanical vs quartz) - we are already "speaking religion," in religious terms, if not with the same cultural baggage that institutional religions incite.

I'd like to see a subforum that can be used RESPONSIBLY - even by irresponsible people such as myself - for mature discussions of topics relating to imaginary things / worlds, and equally imaginary cosmologies / cosmogonies that correspond to such worlds... as they bear on watches, of course.

    Maybe a "pre-screened" subforum.

I am using Chrome on a desktop with Windows 7 and it's working OK. I suggest you clear your cache and see if that helps.

    A suggestion:

To swap the positions of the themed and the branded forum sections.

    i.e. on this page: http://www.intlwatchleague.com/forum.php

make all the themed forums appear just below the IWL home forums , and then the branded forums below that.

It's just that (to my mind) the branded ones should in the bottom section

I can't wait to see some of the important posts we would see in that sub-forum:

"Which is better, religion or politics?"
"My grandpa left me his old religion. Is it real?"
"What's the best strap for a flagellant?"
"Which is your favorite holy trinity?"
    "What would Jesus wear?"

Agree. The back button behavior is controlled by the browser, not our site.
