    IMO this one falls into the "solving a problem that doesn't exist" category, but still interesting--a fully lumed case and strap, using what they're calling "Ceralume." Seems to me it defeats the purpose, which is to make the time more visible at night. But what do I know.

    IWC says that "luminescent ceramic is produced using a highly sophisticated and patent-pending manufacturing process developed by IWC’s engineering division XPL."

    Well, a fully lumed strap certainly won’t make it look like a glow-in-the-dark bracelet that you could win with enough tickets from ski ball at a local arcade or fair at all, well done, good idea, drinks all around, caviar for everyone.

    Maybe it’s the photo, but it looks like it came from a mall kiosk and is perpetually marked down from $50,000 to $195. I’ve seen better photos of your legs.
