Thread: Hello from Oregon

    Hello from Oregon

My name is Alain and Obviously new to this forum. I found this site while doing some research at Week on the wrist. About me, been collecting almost 60 years now as my father gave me one of his watches when I was much younger. Been collecting them ever since. Currently the admin at another forum and all around trouble maker according to some watch companies.

I also collect snowboards and now some dust as my daughter tells me. I am a widower with kids and grandkids and now too many cats as well. I am also an Air Force Veteran.

And my late wife Carol to who I was married for over 30 years until her passing in 2006

A couple of my watches or it did not happen -

My favorite watch, a gift from Carol before she passed away.

Welcome to the forum, chap. Some lovely watches there - that intra matic, and c ward especially. Glad that you have a keepsake from your wife - I'll have to convince mine to get me one!

Guessing you like fishing too? Never done it for me...That corvette yours?

    Cheers, Geoff.

Anyone who includes a Timex in their very first post is ok in my book.

He gave me a Yema Chronograph that he had worn while in Africa and a Hamilton Whitman. both sit in a safe unless it is a important date related to his life.

Yes, my corvette when I can pry it away from my daughter. I also have a newer C7 and my daily driver is a L322 Rover.

One day she and my son took both SUVs and left me driving this to the office.

My C7 below receiving some touch up and a stingray decal on the nose.

The old Rangie which is in storage.

The one we use for playing

    Daughter and my daily driver.

Summer wear from a buddy that goes by Foghorn on the boards. Zodiac Deep Reef

Daughter and the DUCK! University of Oregon

I own a few more watches, only one Rolex which belonged to my father and I do not wear it as I really am not a fan of Rolex. I do not own Invicta watches or Doxa.
