Especially as the Baltic is more than £300. But as we know, anything less than £400 is £300.

That Baltic is really nice, Alan. I'm a little jealous.
Once in awhile you get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right.

Just lenses I think, but it’s still cool.

Seiko lenses were an optional extra when I got my last glasses, but the only option this time. The optician had previously said that they offered finer gradation for varifocal lenses, and had better coating. I don’t know if they’re Hardlex or sapphire.

There’s an easy remedy for that, of course…

Baltic definitely makes some nice pieces, that's one of my favorites. Congrats! (And with the new specs, you'll be able to admire it even more.)

I'm assuming "varifocal" = what's generally called "progressive" over here?

And what did you buy today ?

Timex put together a special deal during their recent 50% off sale -- another 20% off the reduced price for selected watches. That works out to 60% off the original price.

Resistance was futile. I love the color drawing of Snoopy and the globe on the "Take Care" Timex Standard quartz model. But I don't mind the line drawing on the 40mm automatic Marlin. The green second hand gives it a pop of color.

Bought a Timex canvas strap with the watch and replaced the leather strap for the summer.
