    Wouldn't You Like Tonneau

Tonneau / Tank / just plain rectangular / cushion / square

Dare I say: just any NON-round watches?.....

You (should) know the drill by now - Let's see 'em

Part 17 of an occasional August 2019 IWL series of watch genre threads.

Zero; nada; niente; nichts...rectangular/ square cases.

I once thought on getting a (pre-owned) GP from their vintage 1945 series, but took a deep breath and waited for the craziness to go away. It worked!

Still have a couple of weird cases, though

    Some old ones...

Does the Rado helmet shape count?

And then there's the oddball Nooka Zub

I also have an old gold Gruen rectangular that I recovered when cleaning my parent's estate. It's in service at the moment, no photos yet.

And there was this one from my grandfather in 1927, which I gave to my niece for safekeeping a couple years ago.

Too many watches, not enough wrists.

Once in awhile you get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right.
