Well hello again , next up is a bit of an oddball (to me). There are no markings anywhere apart from the silver case and that is the 925 silver mark and an oval with D&R in it and the serial no 2000 with a 1 underneath, although I have just found what looks like a watchmakers mark that say’s I d i y 21 and underneath 386 26 near the hinge. The dial I think is made of porcelain and has a red 12 with what were blued hands and nice gold minute markers. It must have looked great when new. So the vital measurements are 27mm dia (30mm with crown) , lug to lug 33mm , and 8mm thick lug width is 10mm. As you can imagine it is a bit seized up although I think may be repairable , also you have to remember that all these particular watches have been in a toolbox outside for several years .
    More to come. DW.

I know what you mean although given its size and the silver case i would not think it has seen many trenches . Mind you i'm normally wrong so my wife says . DW.

it quite is and clearly can be described as a 'trench' watch and i'm sure that dial would be enamel ,wired lugs , silver hallmarked case , oversized crown for easier use -the size would have been normal for that period ,many would have sported a seconds subdial - keep up the good work
