Seiko QUARTZ MODS: If parts available - Who would be interested?

I know Quartz are not as popular here as mechanicals, but I happen to like Seiko Quartz Chronos for their reliability and looks (sometimes).

That last word - "sometimes" - is what bugs me. Why only 'sometimes' and not, most of the time?
So many look great - dial, case, etc - only to be the dooshes that they are with the hands.
White hands on white dial / subdials, for example. Gawd I hate that!

So I am wondering: is there really no market for quartz parts?
Surely they cannot be harder to make than parts for autos?

Who here would want to have the option of modifying their Seiko Quartz?

Hands are hands, you only need the size:
length and diameter of the "fitting" end or the pivot diameter (will be in the datasheet of the movement).

They aren't exclusive to quartz or mechanical.

And who does not know that, hm?
The problem is, hands with the RIGHT SIZE do not exist in any variety, and even those are hard to come by. Nobody makes them!
    DUH!

Maybe some of the hands of the mechanical movements would fit the quartz? I never checked to see, but I would not be surprised that both the quartz and auto are sharing some hands size. Would be interesting to find out.

It's also Citizen parts I'd like to find. No known source for modders? Hands, dials?

People mod 6309s with 7548 quartz movements. I owned one briefly. Was cool.

People mean well, I am sure, but it's just not that helpful if people don't actually KNOW enough about the subject matter, but are willing to make random conjectures - and that, without reading the original post.

Kinda like me giving you directions on how to get to Glasgow.
"Not sure, but you might be able to catch a bus by the pub, then, find a plane along the way.... or a dingy."
    Etc.

    stop please

You are asking the internet though , we're .....trying at least .... yes I know , very trying

I went looking for random watch hand sets last year and found a veritable cornucopia of them .. all saying what length and size they were.

You want a site just saying "these are black replacements for seiko xyz" dontcha ?
