    Large Bauhaus Rodina

Rodina did a large version of the Bauhaus styled watch (or Nomos/Stowa homage )

It is a little over 41 mm, so for people who are scared by the 35mm versions, or even the 38's, here is your chance. It has one of my favorite movements in it, the seagull 3600sk:

If only they'd removed the 'automatic' from the dial

It's such a shame. They even put China made on the dial, I like that they do not try to obscure things like that. I probably would have bought it otherwise...

I've almost bought this a couple of times but the ridiculous 'automatic' text put me off. Really nice watch otherwise & it would be great if someone could produce a new custom dial for it.

    oops!

(I wish I could find a smaller watch with that 3600 movement, it's so pretty.)
Too many watches, not enough wrists.

I guess this will be as small as it gets. The movement itself is 37mm, this means they only have 2mm thckness around it.

Well, yeah, you're right of course. Back in the day it would have been in a pocket watch. So far I have succeeded in staying away from collecting those. I suspect that would be like a coke sniffer discovering meth.

For those who haven't heard yet... Look at the back of this Rodina, It says Stowa, Antea KS 41 and Made in Germany Again the fine line between fake and homage has been crossed

You can get "Nomos" too. I just came across those the other day on one of the Japanese auction sites.
