    Got all the gang together at last....time for a quick'n'dirty SOTC

    With the arrival of the GUB Glashutte 1980s dress watch and then the return of two watches from being serviced, I've now got all ten of my collection together

    Taking photos of watches isn't easy, and the difficulty doubles with each watch added to a photo, so I'm not going to attempt any photo better than this one:



    As you can see, I've got them all paired up - in my head I've five different styles of watch and I've two of each....

    Weekday watches that get usually get worn in a stretch from Sunday to Thursday

    Nivrel Coeur de la Sarre



    Beijing Zungu



    Both bought new
    both big for me (42mm and 40mm)
    both with bezels sitting on the case
    both hacking
    both about +10s/d
    both have numerals
    one dark dial, one light dial
    one centre seconds, one small seconds

    both manual
    both 37mm
    both sunburst
    both centre seconds
    both plain indices
    both with integrated lugs
    one dark dial, one light dial
    one really cheap, one a bit more pricey

    Casio Edifice



    Swatch Pumpkin Rebel



    both bought new
    both over 40mm
    both have a degree of WR for peace of mind
    both cheap and robust enough and easy to replace enough that I can wear them when I don't want to be worrying about their getting smacked about

    Oh look, I seem to have followed the same pairings and order as my signature, what were the chances of that?

    Until this last couple of pieces I was beginning to wonder how you knew what date it was !!
