Looks good to me. So glad they kept it in the 60s rather than doing a modern day reboot.

Bleah times fifty. I really really really HATE LOATHE DESPISE ABHOR AND CANNOT [edited] STAND remakes. What the hell is the point? And let's face it, doing a remake is a bald admission that you're fresh out of new ideas, that your imagination has gone walkies on you, and that you should [edited] and let someone who actually has something new to say do the heavy lifting. I can't think of a single remake that has improved on the original, and most remakes suck so bad they'd put a black hole to shame. Gawd how I loathe that crap.

I'll vote yay (with a few reservations). Looks like fun, and I've been wondering why it hadn't been tapped by now. One reservation is I'm not certain the Stars of the film have the same pananche and attitude as the originals. Robert Vaughn and David McCallum had tons of it, and a chemistry that just worked. I hope this can be pulled off.

How about Gone In 60 Seconds. I think the remake was way better. I'm sure if I put my mind to it I can come up with more. Some things are simply dated and a fresh look is waranted. TrueGrit was not one of them IMO, but some come out not so bad.

I am inclined to agree with you. I am struggling to think of a remake that was better.

Casino Royal but the new one isn't really a remake of the trippy makes absolutely no sense original.

It was mainly a series originally although they did some double length 'films'

You'll more than likely find episodes of the original series on youtube, well worth watching
