I love my Datejust, but I don't think it is the best in the Rolex lineup. While I love the Pepsi GMT II, I think it is a little showy. Not sure I'd be comfortable walking around wearing a watch which screams ROLEX to all and sundry. A black dial Explorer is my (current) all-time favourite. Subtle, classy and undeniably awesome. Definitely my next purchase.

This has to be my favorite Rolex ever made ( I think only 17 were made of which only 13 are know of and they have a hefty price tag of well over a mil. when they change hands... )
this is my favourite Rolex in my collection
if only I could afford the Explorer 6610 as well.... One day may be.

This is, of course, the true and correct answer.
