Seiko wins for me, just seems more balanced somehow. The Glycine looks like it's trying too hard.

I would like to have the swivel lugs on the Seiko. And the brown strap.
But yeah, the Glycine looks a bit bare.

Gawd. I can forgive a white date wheel on a black dial but vice versa? Hell no!

Well, yeah, but that's why you pay 3.5x more... for that "unusual" design.

I prefer the Glycine. It has a less cluttered and crisper looking dial, and the black date window makes some sense in terms of the black numerals on the dial. Would the predominantly white hands make it difficult to read though?

I think the black frame on the hands could have been, should have been thicker - not only for legibility, but to balance the dial.
It looks really wimpy to me.

If I had to, it would be the Glycine for me, even with the undersized hands. The Seiko looks clunky and ridiculously busy to me. Also, and I freely admit this is a personal quirk, I hate Seiko date windows. Those radius corners on the frameless window are almost always a deal breaker for me.

The Seiko, not a fan of lugs or lack of on the Glycine.
