Now THAT could be mistaken for a Vacheron from across the room.

I swear, it's the last one for now. lol
Saw this, 40€, sapphire crystal, Seiko NH35 (those also come with a Miyota sometimes), used on a German watch forum. Nice size, nice dial (I know the design is stolen from somewhere -- I thought it was Citizen but I am not sure -- but since it is more or less a generic "Flieger"-design, I can live with that).
    Pic taken from Alibaba:

I bought nothing today. I spent my annual watch budget by the middle of the year. I’m done till January!

I have again continued my new love for a vintage modded Seiko , by far my most favourite brand , tomorrow I should receive this big cushion case 6309- 7040 modified with 6105 dial and hands , as near to a real 'apocalypse ' without the problems a real one might bri ng
A 1981' original case but polished ,original back, crown, original bezel but with new bezel insert, original 6309A movement which is overhauled ,cleaned and serviced ,regulated and water sealed and pressure tested to 150feet , new crystal of course , imo just a big beautiful watch at 44mm what's not to like Name: Screenshot_20200705-205008_eBay.jpg

For me, just ‘big’ and ‘44’, but it’s a looker.

This has been contemplated for a while just in a different color and with a bracelet. I think that I am blued out was my hold up. Finding this version in green kind of settled it. Now I'm waiting on as many GS/Seiko as Rolex with nearly just as good communication between the manufacturer and the AD (Meaning virtually zero) on delivery times and how many they are geting. Since the SLA037J1 did not make it in June and no word yet about July the August delivery on this is highly questionable. Most likely they will not be nearly as bad as Omega and miss deliveries by over a year.

The GS Hi-beat GMT which I was originally looking at this in the Sports line:

But this green made it easier to press the go button. GS SBGJ039

    The wait continues.
