    It look like you had to go past the hour to get the action going: miscalibration?
    It is now my duty to completely drain you.

    No it's a sloppy minute hand, either wrong size or the previous owner adjusted the clock by using the hands instead of the center locking ring, that's my guess anyway. The threaded shaft is pretty badly knarled up for some reason.

    I had to make a spacer to lock the hand down with.

    I plan on ordering up a multiple size cuckoo clock hand set from ebay. 6 pairs I'm told.
