Thread: Tell Me I Don't Want to Do This.

  1. #1

Tell Me I Don't Want to Do This.

Tell me I don't want to reward the bad treatment BALL gives to its dealers with programs like this.

Tell me how this is just an unrefined knock-off of an Explorer I and/or Railmaster, with a touch of AT150 and/or Datejust. Tell me that 200m WR is just for show and the 904 steel is a blatant rip-off of the "Crown".

Tell me that 1,000 gauss just isn't "all that" anymore with Omega's master co-axial movements.

Tell me 80 hours power reserve is overrated and BALL's in-house movements are still too new to be trusted.

Tell me I am wasting my money and my time when this $2k could go toward a "better" grade of watch.

    Tell me...

OK. Yes to all your objections.

    But it does look nice.

P.S. AP has done this to all of their dealers too, since they now only sell through boutiques. Just saying...

And tritium tubes are horrible on anything other than a Luminox-type watch.

    Me biased? Noooo...

It looks nice and the price seems good

But if you want some “disabling” I’d say the watch looks boring and the case looks a bit too boxy for my taste

    Yeah, too boxy. True.
But also the sort of utilitarian, every day beater, where it anywhere, including the ocean, watch that I find appealing.
