Lots of helpful info in the quote box that I went and googled for you

I've read they use Top grade, plus their own modifications.

    -Great, for how much longer?

But, like Geoff, not keen on them on the dial, and think they're better safely out of harm's way on the back

Power reserve indicator on the dial, sapphire case back, date and proprietary lugs (= no strap choices). It seems that Tudor had acess to my confidential "not want list".

I'm sure my wallet is safe.

The case and integrated bracelet look nice. It makes me think of a modernized OysterQuartz. The dial, while reminiscent of the Ranger II posted above looks more like a boutique watch dial with that power reserve. I just saw a photo of the Helson Gauge PR the other day and have the image of that PR stuck in my head.

Is their really a market for a watch that looks like the Tudor Ranger but costs nearly twice as much?

I don't like the lugs, power reserve or paying around twice as much for an in-house movement.

Let's just hope it actually IS a new in house movement and not just a 8215 with an extra blah blah blah
