Did you have to go in early to stash your Power Rangers outfit or did you just wear it all day?

I understand the allure of motorcycles but I'll stick to four wheel enclosed vehicles, thank you.
I'm 63 and in this short life I've personally known two killed, three who've lost a leg, and one who almost lost his head when clotheslined by a steel cable strung across a rural road. Apparently someone's idea of joke.
Please be careful!

That’s the voice I hear every time I think about it. I don’t really know anyone who rides who hasn’t been in a crash. I have a friend who has been in enough bad ones that he finally gave it up.

I too gave them up years ago for this reason. Too many awful and/or distracted drivers who simply don't see you, and big rigs that simply can't see you. If I lived in the country, it might be a different story, but not in the 'burbs or city.

I don't think about the consequences of stuff - it's boring.

June 12 of last year I’m at a local lumberyard a mile from my shop. Load up my order and prepare to leave. As I leave I pass a tractor trailer waiting to gain entry to offload parked on the hard shoulder.
I get to the shop, start unloading and I get a call from the yard telling me I’d forgotten the 10 pounds of screws. Then all hell breaks loose, I can hear the whole thing over the phone.
The tractor trailer had pulled into the traveling lane and started the right turn into the yard at the same moment a 19 year old kid try’s to pass on the right at 70+ mph.
A lot of people I know witnessed the event. It was horrible is all they say.
Just sayin.
Be careful out there, Mr. Bot.
