This watch truly needs no introduction. Mostly because a good chunk of us got a laughed at it when the kickstarter thread was posted here! I decided that since I like watches and I like BBQ gadgets and accessories that I'd fork over the $35 and pick one up.

It is by all accounts exactly what you would expect it to be. A cheap Quartz, cheap 40mmsub knockoff case, cheap strap (that actually isn't all that terrible), cheap packaging. In other words, you totally get your money worth. Oh and that included international shipping!

But you know what, I'm sure I'll get my $35 worth of entertainment and conversation out of it. It's a novelty and that's what novelties are supposed to do. So next time I fire up the grill and the value of the meat on it exceeds that of my watch that is timing its cooking, I'll get a little smile on my face and chow down happily.
