You take beautiful photos and they show such remarkable detail!

    Can we try a test?

    1. Try taking a photo of an Alpine Series watch face that I haven't yet recorded in the spreadsheet.
Make sure that the watch face is as centered, flat and level as possible, and that it shows the crystal facets.

    2. Upload it to my Google Drive folder: Uploads - Google Drive
(message with your username when you request access to the folder and I'll provide it)

    3. Give me one accurate reference measurement of either the width of the case or diameter of the crystal.

    4. I'll draw the diagram for the facets and scale it appropriately.

Then we can check how close it is the reality

I was about to say I don't have any more Alpines with faceted crystals, but I do. Most rothorns appear to have flat crystals but mine has a faceted sapphire crystal. it's a unique size , so i can only assume it is correct. it is difficult to capture the facets, but i'll give it a shot.

    Beautiful watches!

I've had a go at the Balboa Great based on Henry's photo and I've added it to the Google Sheet.

    Here's what it looks like:

Looking at your photo and another that I found, it looks like the facets "pinch in" more towards the 12 and 6. So I'll take some more measurements from the new photos and adjust the diagram tomorrow.

If the photo is dead on, it's not too hard to draw. I use a ruler or micrometer and measure off my screen and then convert against a known reference measurement, like the case width or crystal diameter if i can find them.

(that collection of watches is gorgeous).
